ROCKS grade Calcium Carbide

This is top quality USA made Calcium Carbide. Each container is filled with dry nitrogen to keep the carbide from spoiling, and help during shipping. Bottles are sealed with a band, and cans have lid keeper clips installed to make sure the containers do not open during shipping. Nut grade is ROCKS size, which is larger chunks than the pea size, from 3/8" to 1 1/4". Click on the technical info button at the bottom of the page for more info. PEA size is commonly used in smaller lamps like those on miner's caps. ROCKS are usually used in the larger lamps, like car lamps, railroad lamps. bicycle and motorcycle lamps, hand lamps, and acetylene generator units.
